Vila\u00e7a cruzou a meta a escassos tr\u00eas segundos do vencedor, o australiano Matthew Hauser, que registou o tempo de 50.07 minutos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Com um percurso consistente na competi\u00e7\u00e3o, somando duas vit\u00f3rias (Samarkand e Alghero) e dois segundos lugares (Quiberon e Hamburgo) nas quatro etapas em que participou \u2014, o portugu\u00eas confessou um misto de sensa\u00e7\u00f5es ap\u00f3s a prova: \u00abTentei for\u00e7ar a corrida, depois o Hauser atacou e eu ainda quis fechar o espa\u00e7o, mas n\u00e3o consegui. Foi uma \u00f3tima corrida.
